Affiliations and Memberships

In order to ensure continued development and quality service delivery, ICAS has obtained affiliation and membership to a number of relevant organisations in South Africa and abroad. These include:

  • EAPA South Africa: The EAP Association (EAPA) is the largest, oldest, and most respected professional association for persons in the EAP field. ICAS is a corporate member (EG090/2005) of EAPA South Africa and a large number of our staff are active members of the national board and local chapters. This has enabled us to contribute vastly to the evolution and 'fit' of the EAP industry within the South African culture.
  • Human Resource Council of South Africa: The HRCOSA stands for the unification and continual improvement in all components of Human Resources and the broader aspects of people management. ICAS has found it essential to be a member of the leading Human resources forums in South Africa.
  • The International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies: ISTSS is an international multidisciplinary, professional membership organisation that promotes the advancement and exchange of knowledge about severe stress and trauma.
  • Ethics Institute of South Africa: Underpinning ICAS South Africa's core values is a commitment to maintain the highest ethical and professional standards in the industry. It was a logical step to join the membership of the Ethics Institute of South Africa and further cement our commitment to ethical business practice.
  • The Institute of Risk Management South Africa: The institute is a registered non-profit organisation representing individuals and companies committed to the enhancement of the Risk Management discipline in its widest context - enterprise-wide. Effective Risk Management integrated across the enterprise was not only mandated in the King ll report on Corporate Governance but is the cornerstone of building a robust and successful business strategy, irrespective of the size of the organisation.
